In light of COVID-19, Alicia has taken on the added role of “Policy Guru” in which she stays abreast of all federal and state policy discussions and decisions related to COVID-19. She thoughtfully translates this information for staff and our external stakeholders. When staff have specific questions about a particular policy she quickly accesses the information for us. I believe that having this information in real-time has helped with the reputation of IEI as a policy organization and I appreciate her extra effort on this.
