Angela Brisson – CALS/Extension/4-H Youth Development

Angela has done an exceptional job during her first ten months with us! She hit the ground running and has been performing at a very high level ever since. In just her first ten months, Angela has surveyed our 4-H Agents/PA’s on marketing needs and strategies; worked on creating/revising brochures, displays, and videos; helped cultivate a $50,000 campership endowment gift; facilitated an RFP process for a new online camp registration system; secured sponsorship of the youth stage at the 2018 IBMA World of Bluegrass Festival; helped increase attendance and reach for our Pickin’ in the Pines event at Millstone 4-H Camp; drafted and received a $35,000 grant to send 150 youth from vulnerable populations to camp in 2019 through the Capital and Access to Maximize Participation (CAMP) grant through National 4-H Council; facilitated a strategic planning process for our marketing; and created a camp promotional toolkit for our 4-H Agents to promote camp. In summary, Angela has taken our NC 4-H Camping program to a new level!
