Amanda Blackmon, Education

Amanda “Mandy” Blackmon is most deserving of a shout-out. She a personable peer, a helpful co-worker, a concerned member of the community AND an NC State superfan. She proactively looks out for the wellbeing of those she works with. Her expertise and time with the university allow her to help coworkers both up and downstream of her workflow, and she has created multiple forms, processes and how-to’s to make people’s job (and livelihood) less difficult. If you were to ask anyone she works with, and even those outside of her assigned departments, we all recognize that she is a rare coworker indeed. All you have to do is visit her office and in the midst of her NC State gear, you will have all of your questions answered, including the ones you forgot to ask, and you will leave confident that your concerns are addressed, knowing that Mandy Blackmon is the quintessential member of the Wolfpack.
