On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the NC State Staff Senate hosted their annual Backpack Drive distribution day. The giveaway was held in the Administrative Services III Building from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Staff Senators dropped off collection boxes from 30 locations across campus, which were then made available to NC State Staff.

Staff Senators collected over 145 backpacks and supplies. Nearly all of the items donated were selected by the NC State staff members during the giveaway event.

A heartfelt “thank you” goes out to the entire campus community for donating high-quality items, to Staff Senators for collecting and dropping off donations and to the Community Service and Engagement Team for helping us plan, spreading the word and executing this event!
