On Friday, August 27, 2021, the UNC System Staff Assembly will begin accepting applications for the Janet B. Royster (JBR) Memorial Staff Scholarship. The deadline to submit applications is Thursday, September 30, 2021.
The Janet B. Royster (JBR) Memorial Staff Scholarship Fund was created in August of 2011 by the UNC Staff Assembly in memory of UNC-TV employee Janet B. Royster. Annually, scholarships provide assistance towards earning a degree or other professional certification and development. In an effort to award as many of our campuses and affiliated institutions as possible, we will be awarding a maximum of $500 per qualified campus/affiliated institution for the 2021-2022 academic year.
