Amid staff vacancies within the department, Jan tireless stepped into human resources and leadership roles to fill the gaps. She went repeatedly above and beyond to ensure the success of departmental events and recruitment, in addition to serving as the interim HR manager, while still maintaining and accomplishing her already full workload. Seeing processes and procedures that could be better, she continually pushes to find and provide solutions to better everyday experiences of staff and faculty within the department.
