Spotlight on Extension
Staff Senate would like to take a moment to recognize the contributions of NC State employees, who are part of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service. Working as county agents and support specialists, they bridge the gap between the state's people and Extension specialists working at the state's land-grant universities. NC State's role as a land-grant institution is vital to our identity. We are charged to share the knowledge gained via research and make it accessible. The NC Cooperative Extension Service, the largest outreach program at NC State, based in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, reaches all 100 counties in our state.
Most recently, Brenda Wilson, a staff senator and support specialist for Yancey County, gave a short presentation on her role within her district. Please a take moment to view the slides from her presentation.
